The surface must be perfectly even to receive the precision of the drawing to come — choosing and preparing wood, canvas or copper depending on the subject.

I did not learn this craft in a school, but through diligent research, step by step and in detail — the very thing I want to pass on. It is not only a matter of technique: it is also a way of looking, of observing a subject down to its smallest detail, until it can be seen, felt, and understood.
Whether in a private lesson, a workshop, or a demonstration, I try to share what painting has taught me along the way: the choice of pigments and binders, the preparation of the support, the patience of the glaze — and the conviction that no technology will ever replace the brush.
